With big grins Ski Tele’s 29th WARM-UP Day took-off with ‘hero snow’ @ Mt. St. Louis!!! A 1st, Black Diamond’s Eastern Canadian demo rep: Ghislain Leroux was amazed by our community’s spirit!!! and when light rain turned to wet snow, the day was a wonderful success! Special thanks to MEC, Sojourn and our great team for their support!

2012

With warm sunshine, and spring upon us Ski Telemark’s Wrap-Up Party @ Devil’s Glen Country Club for Sat. Mar. 24th has been cancelled, the club is officially closed. We thank you all for your participation and support this season! We also apologize for the late notice of TSO’s Championship event being cancelled at Alpine Ski Club due to safety concerns. For those whom came for the alternate program & an Irish jig, special thanks!!! Free-heel madness!!!!! The winners are…..Results here. Kudos to MEC, Sojourn, White Squall, Rossignol Canada, The Weathervane, Steve the Potter, Brian Backland Photography and you! Hope you’ll join us next season for your free-heelin’ adventures!!! 2010

We, at Ski Telemark thank all of you, TSO and our sponsors for a superb 2010 season!!! To cap our season off, we raced at Mont-Blanc with Telemark Quebec and had a visit from our dear friend Ingun, past Vice President of the Norwegian Ski Federation following the Para-Olympics. 2011 will bring the World Telemark Championships to Norway, we are preparing a special tour package, so keep March 2011 open!!! Happy Spring! Keep in touch!

Thanks to all who came out to Ski Telemark’s final weekend. We did have sun for the training day and the rain held out during the race. Despite the weather, Holly still had to corral the telemarkers to start the awards. Full results are now available and photos have been posted!

– Telemark Quebec held an excellent GS Telemark race event on Sunday, March 21 @ Mont-Blanc. The GS course with jump on run Guy McCann was challenging and demonstrated well the athleticsm of free-heel skiing!
